Versions
CATT-Acoustic is available in 3 versions:
- A free demo/evaluation
version (demo prediction with demo auralization)
- any model created with
the demo can be used with the full version, no modeling limitations.
The demo can be downloaded
from this page.
- the CTA array modeling itself is not limited in
the demo but arrays can not be used in TUCT prediction, this
enables manufacturers that
want to support their arrays to develop it using only the free demo.
- naturally
the limited demo cannot be used for any type of papers, articles or thesis, it is made made for testing and learning
only.
- Full prediction and
demo auralization
- non-commercial education licenses at a 35% discount *)
- loudspeaker manufacturer license at a 35% discount (assumes
that it is not used for regular consulting but mainly to support and
help CATT-A users with loudspeaker data application)
- Full prediction and
full auralization that also comes with The FIReverb Suite™,
ReflPhinder™ and GratisVolver Pro™ included
- non-commercial education licenses at a 35% discount *)
*) no papers, articles
or thesis ("publications") are allowed and that holds also if a university
department elects to purchase a commercial license to get around that
limitation. This limitation should have been in place 15 years ago but
it was then impossible to predict how room acoustics education and research
would develop.
Licenses are typically site licenses for free use at
a licensed location (office or univerity department) but since November
2021 a remote/home use option is available at an additional cost for consultants.
Also personal licenses and "roaming" licenses are available but are used
by quite few, ask if it seems interesting options. For consultants with
many offices a special multi-office license is available where 2nd and higher
offices are discounted, ask for more details if it seems an interesting
option.
Refer to the Introduction manual for further version details.
